MY LIPS ARE SEALED

One of our first 2YO runners in her juvenile year, My Lips Are Sealed has always been held in high regard in the stable.

The daughter of Ace High recorded her first win in September 2023 on a Heavy10 track at Avondale. In December that same year, she was an eye-catching fourth in the $80,000 Listed The O'Leary Fillies' Stakes before finishing second, beaten by only a nose, in the $100,000 Group 3 Lawnmaster Eulogy Stakes 3YOF SW 1600m staged at Trentham.

Turn the clock forward to 2024 and she was back in the winners' circle in late September and came of age in January 2025 - she was sublime when winning the $120,000 Group 3 Rydges Wellington Airport Phar Lap Stakes Open Hcp 1600m in the hands of Samantha Spratt.

Juts one month later, in February 2025, My Lips Are Sealed showed courage and fight in the $120,000 Listed Lisa Chittick Champagne Stakes F&M SW+P 1400m when finishing in third place - only 1.8 lengths off trans-Tasman Group 1 winner Legarto.

In a case of unfinished business, the now 5YO targeted this same race in February 2026.  With the team quietly confident when the skies opened during the week and the track deteriorated to heavy going, this was My Lips Are Sealed's time to again shine. The 2026 Listed Lisa Chittick Champagne Stakes' title was her thanks to a savvy Rory Hutchings' ride, taking her to the front and never looking back.

Raced by the Te Akau Not A Word Racing Partnership (Mgr: Karyn Fenton-Ellis MNZM) she was purchased by David Ellis CNZM from the Karaka Yearling Sale Book 1.  She has raced 22 times for five wins and seven placings, winning $264,710 to date.
