ENCHANTMENT

Well bred filly Enchantment broke through for her maiden win and her first stakes' victory when claiming the $80,000 Listed Property Brokers Welcome Stakes for two year olds at Riccarton Park in April 2026.

The daughter of Hello Youmzain showed early on when winning a trial in August 2025, that she possessed talent, and this quickly shone through as she was second or third at her first three starts. In the hands of Michael McNab, she became Te Akau's 10th Welcome Stakes' winner and has a bright future head of her.

Managed by Ed Stapleton Bloodstock, who also purchased the filly at Karaka, she was entrusted to the stable for owners Heath Newton, Waihi Bloodstock, John Blight, Elias Mantinaos, Pat Donato, Robert Revis, G & N Scanlan, Robert Juleff, David Skilton, Kylie Paton & Meagan Nies.

Enchantment has raced four times for a stakes' win and three placings, with $59,700 in prize money to date.
