Emma Hyde-Richards

Emma Hyde-Richards joined the Te Akau Stud team in 2018 as our Administration Assistant and was an amazing asset to the office with her dynamic personality and humour – not to mention her journalistic talent and expertise. She has an extensive background in award-winning writing alongside her administration skills.

In 2021, Emma relocated to our Matamata stable and now oversees administration in our stable office together with Lena Jones (currently on maternity leave). 

Te Akau principal David Ellis said: “Emma is a focused, bubbly team member who has grown in, and very much contributed to, this business and is always willing to go the extra mile. She’s extremely efficient, is a true team player and we are so grateful to have her in the team”. 

Emma’s sister Stephanie Hyde-Richards is also an integral part of our Matamata team, formerly also based bat Te Akau Stud.
