Te Akau TV - Weekend Preview

Welcome to another edition of Te Akau TV! This week we're joined by Te Akau trainer Mark Walker who is currently leading the New Zealand Trainers Premiership with 33 winners - rain hail or shine it's great to be getting these results for our owners.
The team has been flying over the past week with 11 winners across 4 venues since last Friday. Mark touches on some of the performances including Stella Splendida, Challa, Navalha, Summer Monsoon, Fashion Shoot, Kai, Wild Night, Baronet, Zantabulous and Bubbles Await. Additionally One Kiss was fantastic in winning the Listed Canterbury Belle Stakes at Riccarton on Saturday and shapes as a strong 1000 Guineas prospect.
This week we have a team of eight runners contesting races at Ruakaka, Aromatic lines up in the Group 3 Boehringer Ingelheim Metric Mile at Awapuni and we have two runners lining up at Tauranga on Sunday.
Mark provides us with his best bet for the weekend and gives us the heads-up on where we can expect to see the Te Akau team lining up over the coming week as we lead into the second day of the Hawke's Bay Spring carnival.
