Orinto (Myers) signalled she is again ready to race after working well over 800 metres, with the final 600m in 39.3.

Clos De Tart (Donnelly) covered 600 metres in 40 ahead of resuming in the Benchmark 65 1300 metres on Monday Aug. 19 at Taupo. Sunset Pass (Miller) went over 1200 metres at three-quarter pace in preparation for the Maiden 1800 metres.

Readying to trial on Tuesday Aug. 27 at Te Teko, Imperial Miss (Myers), and O'Darci (Miller) went over 800 metres at three-quarter pace, as did Sir Darci (Miller). Asked to do a little more in their work, Exabelle (Miller) and Viana (Rizman) covered 800 metres in 56.1, last 600 39.2. Single Act (Miller) was untested and showed a good action in a smart piece of work from the 800 metres in 50.3, last 600m in 36. The Musician (Miller) covered 800 metres in 51, last 600m in 37.8. Bronte Lass (Donnelly) and Sovereign Rose (Miller) worked over 800 metres at three-quarter pace.
