Te Akau Racing has five horses entered on Saturday 20 November at Te Rapa.

12.55 p.m. R2 3 Miss Aotearoa  (4 m Per Incanto - Danex) - Opie Bosson; claimed late following an economical trip in a Rating 74 1400 metres here on Melbourne Cup Day (2 Nov.) and meets a similar field in $55,000 Rating 74 1400 metres. Two starts for two wins last season, including the Gold Trail Stakes (Gr. 3, 1200m), she rates a top three chance with luck from draw (13). Fixed odds: $4.00 & $1.80.

1.30 p.m. R3 4 Bright Blue Sky  (2 f Fastnet Rock - Blue Blue Sky) - Opie Bosson; began smartly, settled handy inner, and quickened under her own steam to win very well when trialling on 4 November at Matamata. Debuting from barrier one in $70,000 Fasttrack Insurance 2YO Stakes (Listed, 1200m), by Champion Sire, out of Lonhro (Octagonal) mare, family of La Sizeranne (Stravinsky), Tavago (Tavistock), and Lankan Rupee (Redoute's Choice). Fixed odds: $1.90 & $1.00.

2.45 p.m. R5 8 Vamos Bebe  (5 m I Am Invincible - Hurtle Myrtle) - Danielle Johnson; put the fresh-up run behind her when unleashing an impressive performance in Rating 74 1200 metres on 23 October at Matamata, running fastest 600m (33.5) on day, and contests $70,000 Haunui Farm Counties Bowl (Listed, 1100m). She steps up in class, but carries the minimum weight (53kg) and is ideally drawn (5) to make her presence felt. Fixed odds: $3.30 & $1.30.

3.20 p.m. R6 9 Image of You  (4 m Pins - Exactly Like You) - Opie Bosson; resumed with a strong victory in the Maiden 1300 metres on 6 October at Taupo, ran fastest 600m (34.7) finishing second in Rating 65 1400 metres on 23 October at Matamata, and made up plenty for second in Rating 65 1400 metres here on 6 November. She rates a top three prospaect with luck from draw (11) in $55,000 Rating 65 1600 metres. Fixed odds: $5.00 & $2.00.

5.10 p.m. R9 3 Aromatic  (5 m Sacred Falls - Vickezzchardonnay) - Joe Kamaruddin (a2); found plenty for a fresh-up second to stable-mate Maasir (Proisir) in Rating 74 1300 metres on 17 September at Taupo, and given time (32 days) since a strong finishing second in a Rating 74 1400 metres on 16 October at Hastings. In the interim, she was unpressured finishing third in a trial on 4 November at Matamata. Having registered three wins and six seconds from 10 starts, she has weight relief to 58kg and has first four claims in strong field for $55,000 Rating 74 1600 metres. Fixed odds: $6.50 & $2.40.
