2:13 p.m. R3 12 Can't Kach Me (3 f Tavistock - Kachina) - Opie Bosson; she was a touch tardy from barrier one when finishing fifth on debut in the Maiden 3YO 1200 metres on 23 December at Matamata, and contests the $14,000 Maiden 3YO 1300 metres. Drawn the ace again, she has the opportunity to improve second-up.
5:34 p.m. R9 7 Elegant Lady (3 f Highly Recommended - Lady Masako) - Opie Bosson; she hit the line strongly for sixth on debut and ran the fastest last 600m (35.6) with a big run for second in the Maiden 1600 metres on 3 January at Matamata. She rates a top three chance from barrier three in the $14,000 Maiden 3YO 1600 metres.
