Te Akau: Te Akau NZ Otaki Preview

A 2YO Te Akau trained filly has the Otaki destination on Friday.

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the nine-race programme on Friday April 5 at Otaki.

As at 9:45am on Thursday April 4 the conditions were: fine and Dead5, rail in the true position - 11mls of rain overnight.

12:55pm R1 2 Dreamer (2 f More than Ready - Make Me Strong) - Matt Cameron; produced a notable performance for fifth in the Taranaki Classic (Gr. 3, 1200m) at New Plymouth, and comes off a 49-day break for the Maiden 2YO 800 metres. Second at her only start here, where the winner Fantastic Honour and third placed Keeperhot have since finished second and fourth respectively in the Karaka Million, she clearly brings the strongest form to the race. Able to act in a freshened state, she shows the precocity and professionalism to prove a strong winning chance.
