Te Akau Tauranga Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has two horses entered for the eight-race twilight programme on Wednesday Feb. 5 at Tauranga.
As on Tuesday Feb. 4 the conditions were: fine and Dead4, rail out 8 metres.

5:33pm R5 2 The Musician (3 g Minstrel Court - Carrots) - Matt Cameron; did things right in front and proved too good at only his second start on Jan. 4 in the Maiden 1000 metres at Thames. Given time since, 32-days, he takes his place from barrier five in the Benchmark 65 1200 metres. A free goer, he meets a couple of handy types, as expected up inĀ  grade, but has the ability to measure up providing he again races professionally.

7:15pm R8 8 Seline (3 f Pentire - Dion) - Matt Cameron; only sighted clear air late in the piece when rounding off solidly for fourth on Jan. 17 in the Maiden 1600 metres at Matamata, and jumps from barrier one in the corresponding race. On debut prior, she wound up stylishly for fourth on Dec. 27 in the Maiden Fillies and Mares 1400 metres at Rotorua. With the attributes of a staying type, she appears one of the leading chances in this field.
