Course proper (Dead) right-handed on Friday:

Darci’s Gold (Stack) and Urban Angel (Miller) worked nicely over 1000 metres, running their final 600m in 38.5. Both mares got through the task in good style. Urban Angel appears a foremost prospect in the Benchmark 65 1600 metres on Monday May 20 at Tauranga, following her head margin defeat resuming over 1400 metres at Pukekohe. Darci’s Gold, a winner resuming at Avondale, followed by a close third at Pukekohe, holds a nomination for a return to the venue of her fresh-up success for the Benchmark 75 1200 metres on Wednesday May 22 at Avondale.

Cold Snap (Miller) and Kayleen (Stack) went over the same trip and quickened over the last 600 metres in 38.4. Cold Snap has also been nominated for the Benchmark 75 1200 metres at Avondale. At the meeting on Monday May 20 at Tauranga, Kayleen was preparing for the Maiden 1200 metres.

Tossed Again (Miller) worked solo from the 1000 metres, coming her final 600m in 38.5. She contests the Benchmark 65 1200 metres at Tauranga.
