Te Akau track work Saturday August 17

Course proper (Slow):

Both sporting a record of one start, one win, All Decked Out (Miller) and O'Darci (Stack) covered 1000 metres in 1:11 and the final 600m in 40.4. They are ready to trial on Tuesday Aug. 27 at Te Teko.

Scheduled to trial at the same meeting, Exabelle (Miller) and Viana (Stack) recorded 1:09.8 for the 1000 metres and 40.1 for the last 600m.

Scheduled to race over 1400 metres next Saturday at New Plymouth, Orinto (Miller) worked with Milan Miss (Stack) who is preparing for the Benchmark 65 1400 metres on Monday Aug. 26 at Avondale. Gaining momentum from the 1200 metres, they reeled off 1:11 for the 1000 metres, last 600m in 40.

Also for the meeting at Avondale, Cold Snap (Miller) and Sing Like Ella (Stack) covered 1000 metres in 1:09, last 600m in 39.7.

Two-Year-Old Grass Track:

Rockfast (Hazlett) - pictured - went through his paces nicely at three-quarter speed over 400 metres, and doing the same work was Flaming (Miller), Light Source (Hazlett), and Fiftyshadesofbay (Ellis).
