2:57 p.m. R3 4 Amalfi Prince (3 g Sebring - Campania) - Joe Kamaruddin (a2); posted notable seconds in his first two starts, was freshened, and trialled, before finding the line for fifth in a Maiden 3YO 1400 metres on 2 January at Tauranga. He enjoys weight relief to 55kg, going up in trip suits him in the $12,000 Maiden 1600 metres, but he does require luck from the awkward draw (10).

4:42 p.m. R6 16 Sternland (3 f Astern - Landslide) - Joe Kamaruddin (a2); trialled well before remaining off the pace when debuting in a Maiden 3YO 1200 metres on 12 January at Matamata, and contests the $12,000 Maiden 3YO 1400 metres. She has weight relief to 53.5kg and receives the chance to improve from an ideal draw (2).

5:52 p.m. R8 16 Nossenko (3 f Savabeel - Vera de Bosset) - Craig Grylls; raced well in her first three starts before missing the start dramatically in a $12,000 Maiden 1400 metres on 12 January at Matamata. She is ideally drawn (5) in this corresponding event and is capable of bouncing back with a good performance in the hands of her senior rider.
