11:43 p.m. R1 14 Apollonius (3 g Fastnet Rock - Ciarlet) - Craig Grylls; went shin sore in only start as two-year-old, since gelded, and drew clear with strong gallop to win easily at the trials on 4 August at Te Rapa. Coped well on Heavy8 at trials, pace to utilize barrier three and he shapes to race well fresh-up in the $14,000 Maiden 1200 metres.

12:47 p.m. R3 5 Jibbity (3 f Savabeel - Alpine Julz) - Craig Grylls; sustained a big run for second in trial (Heavy8) on 4 August at Te Rapa, and debuts in the $14,000 Maiden 3YO 1200 metres. From family of Melbourne Cup (Gr. 1, 3200m) winner Viewed (Scenic) and Telegraph (Gr. 1, 1200m) winner Adventador (Fast ‘n' Famous), drawn ace (1) and should race well if appreciative of conditions.
