4:00 p.m.(NZ) - 2:00 p.m. (Vic) R2 12 Lipstick Legal (3 f Star Witness – Conscious) – Jett Stanley; she found the line late for fifth after travelling wide in a trial on 14 September at Cranbourne, and debuts in the A$32,000 Maiden 1200 metres. By GROUP 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m) winner Star Witness (Starcraft), sire of Te Akau bought and trained million-dollar earner Bellatrix Star, she responded to urging in HER last trial, but requires luck from her very wide draw (15). 6:00 p.m. (NZ) - 4:00 p.m. (Vic) R6 3 Sheanadh (4 m Night Of Thunder – Disbelieve) – Liana Wood (a3); she resumed with victory in a Benchmark 56 1100 metres on 1 September at Wodonga, and finished strongly for third in a Benchmark 56 1100 metres on 29 September at Tatura, both with Wood aboard. Contesting the A$22,000 Benchmark 56 1400 metres, she will appreciate the weight relief to 59.5kg, and brings the right form to prove competitive. NZ TAB fixed odds: $6.00 & $2.30.
