5:25 p.m. (NZ) - 3:25 p.m. (Vic) R4 6 I Am Aria (3 f I Am Invincible – Talaria) – Michael Dee; she scored comfortably when resuming in a Maiden 3YO Fillies 1000 metres on 12 August at Bendigo, and did well near the rail in the Group 3 Cap D’Antibes Stakes (1100m) on 12 September at Flemington, each with Michael Dee aboard. Contesting the A$200,000 Group 3 Dominant Scarborough Stakes (1100m), she has placed in two from three appearances in Group races on this course, and has drawn (6) nicely to position her to race well again. 6:30 p.m. (NZ) - 4:30 p.m. (Vic) R6 10 Lara Antipova (3 f Russian Revolution – Artistic Lass) – Zac Lloyd; she extended beautifully, after trailing the leader, to win the Listed Michael Moroney (1400m) on 12 September at Flemington, and contests the A$300,000 Group 2 MSC Signs Stutt Stakes (1600m). Named New Zealand's Champion Two-Year-Old after winning all four starts last season, she is the only filly in this field, and rates a top three chance from the advantageous barrier four. 7:45 p.m. (NZ) - 5:45 p.m. (Vic) R8 12 Geegees Mistruth (5 m Wordsmith – Miss Mana) – Blake Shinn; she ended her previous campaign winning the A$1 million Group 1 Robert Sangster Stakes (1200m), and finished strongly out of midfield for a close fifth when resuming in the Group 1 Moir Stakes (1000m) on 5 September at Sandown. Contesting the A$2 million Ladbrokes Group 1 Manikato Stakes (1200m), a race previously won by stable star Imperatriz, she has recorded seven wins to 1400 metres, has raced well on this course, and has drawn the pivotal ace.
