This is a photo of one of the most stunning colts you will ever see!

By a champion sire O'Reilly out of the Group 1 Oaks' winning Zabeel mare Grand Echezeaux.

This colt is a half brother to five-time Group 1 winner Darci Brahma whose progeny this week have won in New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore.  If course he scored a notable double with his offspring winning both the Group 1 Telegraph and Group 1 Levin Classic at Trentham in January.

He is also a half brother to Burgundy who won five Group and Listed races in his career and now stands at Cambridge Stud.

Grand Echezeaux has three sons at stud and this colt is from the same family as the great Ethereal, Romanee Conti, Dolmabache, Pure Elegance and many more elite level performers.

This colt is by a champion sire, out of a Group 1 winning mare who is by a champion broodmare sire.  I thought he was sensational value at $370,000.

You would be welcome to take a 10% share for $37,000 plus GST or a 5% share for $18,500 plus GST.

I see this colt as being a Group 1 NZ 2000 Guineas colt that would train on to be a contender for elite Group 1 racing on both sides of the Tasman.  Remember that Te Akau trained Darci Brahma to win at Group 1 level in Australia as a two year old. He then he won two Group 1 races at three and two Group 1 races at four and was named Champion 2YO of the Year, Champion 3YO of the Year and Champion Sprinter Miler as a four year old.
