EQUIPOTENTIAL CHARITY AUCTION - LIVE NOW!

Do you fancy owning a pair of James McDonald's signed Group 1 jodhpurs, or experiencing a money-can't-buy Cambridge Stud Experience? A weekend away at DoubleTree By Hilton at Karaka or maybe VIP glamping at Little Avondale Stud is more you?

Want to top up your Te Akau account with $5k worth of training fees or have your name on a race at the Waikato Racing Club as you host a table to 10? Perhaps treat your four-legged friends to a year's supply of cat and dog food + flea treatment delivered right to your door from SVS Laboratories!

Te Akau Racing is very excited to share great news - our EquiPotential Charity Auction that is taking place this weekend at our sold-out Te Akau Soirée is now live!

We're inviting anyone who would like to support this wonderful organisation to do so through our online ‘Silent Auction' platform which will close at 9.30pm this Saturday. We also have a donation option available for you to support this charity that is doing simply amazing work in our community.

You will see that we have some major items that are only available to be bid on live on the night at the event - if one of these particularly takes your interest, you can email your maximum bid to [email protected] and we can place that one bid for you on the night.

David and Karyn are hugely proud Co-Patrons of EquiPotential New Zealand (formerly Hamilton Riding for the Disabled).  This dynamic organisation changes lives, making a fundamental and crucial difference in our community. Now an independent organisation with no national funding, EquiPotential's innovation in developing new programmes is world-class.  We are privileged to work alongside people whose dedication knows no bounds, whose hunger for improving our society is irrepressible, whose determination to reach far beyond traditional boundaries has to be seen to be believed.

EquiPotential NZ builds people's capability through interaction with horses.   Its purpose is to provide high quality Equine Assisted Services which deliver the Equipotential programme outcomes through interaction and participation with horses:

-       Physical health

-       Wellbeing

-       Social involvement

-       Transferable skills

EquiPotential NZ supports those experiencing disability, mental health concerns, and social and emotional challenges. Aiming to enhance confidence, independence and transferable skills and abilities, the programmes work holistically to understand and develop individual strengths and capabilities, to transform people's lives in a positive way.
