Shikoba

winner of the 2005-06 New Zealand Bloodstock Filly Of The Year title. This daughter of Chief Bearhart was trained by Mark Walker and was a star of the 2006 Auckland Summer Carnival with outstanding wins in the Group 2 Eight Carat Classic (1600m) and Group 2 New Zealand Bloodstock Royal Stakes (2000m). She was also beaten by only a nose in the Group I Levin Classic (1600m) at Otaki in November 2005. Early in 2006, Shikoba won the Group 2 Cambridge Stud Sir Tristram Fillies' Classic (2000m) at Te Rapa maganificently. She was bred and raced by Micaela Murray and was retired in March 2006.
