Flying Fulton

the son of Flying Spur/Fulton was purchased by David Ellis from the 2008 NZ Bloodstock Ready to Run Sale for $210,000 and is trained by Mark Walker, firstly in New Zealand and then in Singapore.  Raced by the Te Akau Stallion (No.2) Syndicate, managed by David Ellis, the colt won the $50,000 Listed Great Northern Foal Stakes at Ellerslie on 23 May 2009 at just his fourth start.  He relocated to Singapore in September 2010 where he has been a star winning six times to date for stakes of $1.1 million.  He also became Te Akau Singapore's first black type winner in September 2011 when claiming the $200,000 Group 3 Committee's Prize.  He then won the Group 3 New Year Cup over 1900m on New Year's Day 2012, the Group 3 Polytrack Championship Mile on 11 March 2012 as well as the Yew Tee Classic Stakes in July 2012.  In November 2012 he claimed the Group 3 Colonial Chief Stakes also on the polytrack. In January 2013 Flying Fulton was crowned Singapore Polytrack Horse of the Year and in March 2013 he won his sixth stakes' race, the $150,000 Group 3 Marsiling Stakes. His total prize money earnings are now approaching $1.3 million.
